The Molecular Design Group (MDG), is based in the School of Chemical Sciences, at Dublin City University (DCU), Ireland. We are interested in creating and applying computer-aided drug design (CADD) technologies to discover and develop novel small molecules that modulate the activity of proteins involved in disease pathogenesis

The MDG currently consists of three PhD candidates, one Research Ireland funded postdoctoral researcher and multiple visiting MSc and BSc project students.

Infrastructure
Our in-house primary infrastructure consists of heterogeneous servers with ~400 CPU cores and multiple NVIDIA GPUs. We are intereseted in working with potential collaborators intent on discovering small molecules with the potential to treat disease.
